FASHION DESIGNER 

For India, Fashion designer, Dr Smita Shrivastav is the embodiment of sustainable fashion, from her commitment to working with artisans and sourcing ethically produced materials to her adoption of innovative and environmentally sensitive production processes.

"We have to realize that sustainable fashion can help us move beyond fast fashion,” says Smita, whose production company, The Bridal Banaras,

"The pandemic has come as a wake-up call for us to realign our goals collectively, aim for a more sustainable way of production and look at consumption with fresh eyes and new perspectives," she adds. "At our fashion house, every decision in the office factors in our progress towards carbon neutrality."

Smita, a make in India activist who received a Make in India award in 2017 from the Indian nongovernmental organization and several accolades from different organizations for her efforts to conserve the dying heritage crafts of India. While working and uplifting weavers of banaras she later turned into a designer and started designing and promoting the exquisite legacy of banaras and launched her Bridal Collection and did fashion shows in Switzerland, Norway, Dubai and London’.

INTERNATIONAL FASHION DESIGNER 

 Rina Dhaka is very well known among the It people of the world. She is known as a designer for women who think. Rina Dhaka has transformed the Indian couture into an epicenter of avant-garde fashion design. That is no small feat, considering that her label is self-financed. While a brooding, intellectual quality evolved as the hallmark of Indian designers, Dhaka
continually balances it with her contemporary style and aesthetic appeal. Today, she boasts ‘Best Designer’ Award in Miami Fashion Week 2004, has shown her work in The Louvre Paris, and was bestseller at a Bollywood promotion at Selfridges. Her stellar clientele includes Naomi Campbell, Uma Thurman, Tara Palmer Tomlinson and Vittorio Radice, to name a few. She has also shown her work at Metropolitan museum, New York, London, Mauritius, South Africa, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong and USA. 

FASHION DESIGNER 

Lucilia Fernandes is a British fashion designer and

founder of lucilia couture. Lucilia also owns a

fashion boutique in London Islington for ladies ,

men’s clothing and accessories. Lucilia Couture

has showcased her designs in various exhibitions

around the world. Lucilia has picked up many

awards as designer. She has been awarded in

India, US, and U.K. In 2021 she has launched her

own wines and beauty range lucilia beauty and also

Perfume for men & women and hair products,

shampoo / conditioner and lip glosses . There’s no

stopping her. She has her head full of more ideas .

She wants to open her own restaurant and get

involved movies, produce her own movies which

has been her dream from so long You can achieve

anything if you put your mind it. Planing and hard

work is all need says Lucila.
